 After Lightbringer [[gw1:Sylvana Salvato|Sylvana Salvato]] defeated [[gww:Abbadon|Abbadon]] together with the [[Defenders of the Blackblade]] and the then mortal [[gww:Goddess_of_Truth|Kormir]] she retired into [[gww:Maguuma Jungle|Maguuma Jungle]] wandering around until she settled down in [[gww:Ventari's Refuge|Ventari's Refuge]]. Here she wrote her memoires and eventually was buried with them. Much like the lessons of Ventari's Tablet seeped into the pale tree, so did Sylvana's words enter the dream towards one specific Sylvari, who after awakening from the dream took her name upon herself. With no official ties to the Salvato family she still feels like the descendant of Sylvana Salvato.
