History

When Zeyal first joined the guild, he was a big and bulky warrior with some elemental skills that usually got him killed in a fight. It wasn't until much later in his journey that he began to use his brain and begin to use skills to help his warrior capabilities and begin to tank better. However, even this was not to last.
Upon joing Defenders of the Blackblade, Zeyal found it hard to work with Gryphne of Nor and went to such extreme lengths to put up with him that during one mission during their time in the Southern Shiverpeaks, Zeyal left the team and the guild altogether to change and become something, and someone, completely new.
A year later, Zeyal returned to the Guild Hall on the Wizard's Isle. Ravaged by the cold and terrors in the Southern Shiverpeaks, he clutched a frozen bone with a string attached to it as a bow. His swords had been found on the shores of the Guild Hall weeks before and he refuses to wield them, claiming to be a sure-shotted Ranger. His physically appearance, now much leaner and more athletic resembled that of a Ranger, as did his clothing and weapons he carried and when asked to demonstrate his new skills he did so with ease.
Rejoining the Guild itself was another matter. Zeyal had been void of human contact for a year and found it very hard to connect to anyone, especially his closest friends from a year ago and spends a lot of his time resting on the boat moored at the Guild Hall, or back at the Shiverpeaks, which he calls his home.
Whether or not this eases with time, no one knows. What is known is that in times of crises, Zeyal will always be there to help...but no one knows what to expect from him...if he does himself!
